Make a Difference — Be a Miracle League Buddy

We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers (ages 12+) to serve as Buddies for the Spring 2026 Miracle League season. Buddies are paired with one athlete for an 8–10 week season of support and fun.

Season Details
• Dates: April–May 2026
• Game Nights:
– 15 & Under League: Tuesdays
– 16 & Up League: Thursdays
– Additional Monday games may be added as needed as the league grows.
• Time Commitment: 1 game per week (about 1 hour)
• Location: Miracle League Field at Sand Mountain Park

Buddy Responsibilities
• Prioritize athlete safety at all times
• Encourage and assist while promoting independence
• Help with batting, running bases, and participation based on individual needs
• Engage positively and be a consistent, enthusiastic presence each week

Requirements
• Must be 12 years old or older by September 1, 2026
• Arrive 15 minutes before game time
• Wear the official yellow Buddy shirt during games (purchase for $10 at the Guest Services counter in the Fitness Center)
• Stay alert and face the field of play; no cell phone use on the field
• Demonstrate high morals, a positive attitude, and good sportsmanship
• Complete the required waiver
• All volunteers are subject to a criminal background check
