Make a Difference – Be a Miracle League Buddy!
We’re looking for enthusiastic, compassionate volunteers (ages 12 and up) to serve as Buddies for the Fall 2025 Miracle League season. As a Buddy, you’ll be matched with one player for an unforgettable 8–10 week season filled with joy, laughter, and friendship!
Season Details:
Season Dates: September & October 2025
Game Nights:
15 & Under League: Tuesday evenings
16 & Up League: Thursday evenings
Additional games may be added on Mondays as the league grows
Time Commitment: 1 game per week, approx. 1 hour
Location: Miracle League Field at Sand Mountain Park
Buddy Responsibilities:
Ensure your player’s safety at all times (e.g., stepping in front of fast-moving balls)
Encourage and assist your player while promoting independence
Help your player bat, run bases, and participate—based on their individual needs
Engage with your player and build a connection through fun and positive support
Be a consistent, enthusiastic presence each week
Buddy Requirements:
Must be 12 years old or older by September 1, 2025
Must arrive 20 minutes before game time
Wear the official yellow Buddy shirt during games
Stay alert and always face the play to protect your player
Cell phone use is not allowed on the field during games
Must demonstrate high morals, a positive attitude, and sportsmanship
Required to complete a waiver form
All volunteers are subject to a criminal background check
